His presence, friendship and infectious smile will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife Cher he is survived by his stepson Adam Taschler; his twin grandchildren Samuel Jeffrey Taschler and Sophia Zaine Taschler; his mother Sue Morgan and husband Henry; his father H. Curtiss Dietrich and wife Alice; his stepfather Paul Fuhs and wife Mary; his uncle Peter Dumaine; his sisters Lael Dietrich Cook, Lissa Margaret Dietrich; brother Thomas Henry Dietrich; step sisters Susan Barraclough and Sandra Fuhs; half brother Scott Dietrich and half sister Jane Dietrich; cousin Victoria Dumaine; nephews Theodore "Ted" Cook, Oliver Cook, and Elliot Barraclough; and niece Deanna Dietrich; and his beloved dog Harley.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at 11 am in the First Congregational Church, 12 School St., Rockport. Extended family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
