John F. Huntsman, II

ROCKPORT — John Fletcher "Jack" Huntsman, II, of
Falmouth, (formerly of Rockport), born Oct. 22, 1934, passed away
peacefully at Falmouth Hospital, Friday, May 27, 2011.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Huntsman of
Gloucester, and Johnna Huntsman Cooke of Rockport, Malcolm Cooke of
Brookline; and Jack's beloved granddaughter, Madelyn Elizabeth Cooke,
Jack's best friend, Marianne White of Falmouth, and Andrena Bear
Huntsman of Rockport; his former wife and mother of Elizabeth and Johnna.
Graduate of the Hill School, Brown University and N.E.
College of Law. Teacher at Moses Brown School, Wrestling coach at Brown
University. U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. Jack was a retired criminal
attorney having practiced in Essex and Barnstable Counties. He was
inducted into the N.E. Hall of Fame (VT Wrestling) in 2011 and was an
accomplished "Star" boat sailor; volunteered at Falmouth Hospital,
Penikese Island School, and was active in the Falmouth Senior Center.
ARRANGEMENTS: All friends and fans are invited to
share in a celebration of his life to be held at Halibut State Park on
Saturday, July 16 at 1 p.m. Meet at reserved parking to the left at
