MaryAnn Jones, 63, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away
Monday, July 16, 2007.
She was born April 11, 1944 in Gloucester, to Lawrence
and Frances (Testaverde) Scola.
MaryAnn worked as a salesperson in communications before
retiring and moving to Punta Gorda from Rockport in 1999.
She was a member of Sandy Bay Yacht Club in Rockport, and
the Red Hats Society.
MaryAnn will be greatly missed by her husband of 23
years, Charles; son, Edward (Lynn) DiPietro of Nahant, Mass.; sisters,
Catherine (Robert) Cavenaugh of Ipswich, Rose (Joe) Misuraca and Phyliss
(Thomas) Misuraca, both of Gloucester, and Pauline (Leo) Linquata of
Springhill, Fla.; brothers, Joseph (Lia) Scola, John (Kathleen) Scola, and
Larry (Phyliss) Scola, all of Gloucester, Peter (Linda) Scola of San Diego,
and Paul (Maureen) Scola of Port Charlotte, Fla.; along with numerous nieces
and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of MaryAnn’s life will
be 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry
Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with Dr. Rick Sloan officiating. A
memorial service will be held at St. Ann's Church at a later date. To
