Nancy Ann Cicerchia

Nancy Ann Cicerchia, 44, of 138 Main St., Essex, MA died suddenly Monday,
Dec. 3, 2001.
Born in Providence, RI, a daughter of Dr. John and Edna H. (Rabenstorff)
Cicerchia, she was a resident of Essex, MA for about a year, previously
living in Somerville, MA for 18 years.
She was a former Barrington resident, a 1974 graduate of Barrington High
School and a member of the National Honor Society. She was a graduate of the
University of Vermont, and received her masters degree from both Smith and
Harvard University.
She was a member of the National Association of Social Workers and was a
licensed independent social worker.
She was an avid sportswoman enjoying sailing and bicycling.
Besides her parents, she leaves one brother, John Cicerchia of
Barrington, RI; two sisters, Ellen Cicerchia of Barrington, RI and Julie
Fraiser of Orcas Island, WA. She was the aunt of Sharon Cicerchia, Ben and
Caitlin Greene and great aunt of Robert and Randy August.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy
Angels Church, Maple Avenue, Barrington, RI. Burial will be in Maria del
Campo Cemetery, Barrington, RI.
