Day 1 - Rain,
clouds and drizzle dominate the day's weather, with light
northwesterly wind. Only one race was able to be held.
Day 2 - Dense
morning fog finally gives way to sunshine. A beautiful day, but winds
were light out of the northeast. Green fleet was able to get 4 short
races, and the championship fleet, divided into 4 divisions, had two
races.
Day 3 - A sunny
start gave way to dense fog as the sailors were on the water. A
postponement was called, but finally races were started in somewhat
foggy conditions. The fog finally lifted to expose sunny skies. Wind
was northeast about 10 knots. Where are our prevailing southwesterlies?
