Sandy Bay Yacht Club is a very active
one-design racing club, with racing on Saturdays & Sundays as well as
Wednesday nights.
Our current one-design fleets are: Bullseyes, Flying Scots,
Rhodes 19s and Stars, with Junior Sailors sailing Club 420s, Lasers and
Optimists. The Cruising Fleet also races under PHRF rating rules. Along with
our regular series racing, SBYC has hosted numerous one-design regattas, including
District, Regional and National Championships.
