Notice of Race
1.0 ORGANIZING AUTHORITY AND VENUE
1.1 The Organizing Authority is Rhodes 19 Fleet 36 in conjunction with the Sandy Bay Yacht Club (SBYC).
1.2 Racing will take place on Sandy Bay or Massachusetts Bay off Rockport, Massachusetts.
2.1 The races will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2005-2008.
2.2 Sailing Instructions will be available at registration.
3.0 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
3.1 The Regatta is open to all keelboats and helmsmen of the Rhodes 19 class that meet the requirements defined in the class rules.
3.2 Eligible boats may enter by filling out the Official Entry Form and sending it with the requisite fee to:

3.3 Official Entry Forms may be obtained from the Mainsheet or from the event web site http://www.sandybay.org/rhodes/2006Nationals/index.shtml.
3.4 The entry fee is $275 per boat prior to August 1, 2006. A late fee of $50 will be charged for entries received after this date. Non-crew members may participate in all social activities for an additional $50 dollars per person.
4.1 Measurement and Registration: Date Time

5.1 Races will be excluded per class rule B 12.06. This changes RRS A2.
6.0 HAUL-OUT RESTRICTIONS
6.1 No haul-outs will be permitted from 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 22, until after the finish of the final race of the regatta. Exceptions to this rule in order to undertake repairs require written consent of the regatta judges.
7.0 LOANER BOATS
7.1 Loaner boats may be available and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact Kevin Lane (email@example.com) no later than July 1, 2006 to make arrangements.
8.1 Advertising will be limited to ISAF category A.
9.0 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
9.1 Competitors participate in the races entirely at their own risk. See RRS rule 4, Decision to Race. The Organizing Authority, its employees, and its volunteers will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
