The Fifth
Annual Sandy Bay Yacht Club Striped Bass Fishing Tournament was held
Saturday, August 3, 2002, under ideal conditions. The three winners were:
First
Place: Janet Herdan - weight 30 pounds, length 44 inches. Second Place:
Dean Rossi - weight 25 pounds, length 40 inches. Third Place: Paul Koller
- weight 16 pounds, length 34 inches.
A cookout
was held following the tournament, along with a raffle. The raffle winners
were Randy Brown, Emma Ouellette, Bruce Reed and David Harding. A special
thanks to Avian Computer and Winchester Fishing Co. for their generous
contributions to the event, Ed Salas for his help at the grill, and Donna
Brown for organizing the cookout. |
