...A STRONG SNOW SQUALL APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank 
  National Marine Sanctuary...
  Massachusetts Bay and Ipswich Bay...
  Ocean Waters from the Merrimack River to Plymouth from 40 to 60 NM 
  offshore...

At 633 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, 
capable of producing winds to around 25 knots. This thunderstorm was 
located over Thatcher Island, moving east at 35 knots. Visibility 
briefly less than 1 nautical mile is expected.

Locations impacted include...
Eastern Point Ma, Mass Bay Buoy 44029, The Coastal Waters East Of
Cape Ann, Thatcher Island, Jeffreys Ledge Buoy 44098, The Coastal
Waters East Of Boston Harbor and Sandy Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...briefly rough seas and
lightning strikes. Consider heading for safe harbor until this storm
passes.
