Marine Synopsis for New England Waters

New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A cold front will move S over
the area tonight, then stall across the waters Mon and Mon 
night. Low pressure will develop along the front over coastal New
Jersey later Mon, then track NE across the far western portion 
of the waters Mon night into Tue. The departing low will pull the
front slowly SE over the area later Tue and Tue night as a 
second low forms just S of the area later Tue night. The second 
low will track NE and cross Georges Bank Wed, followed by a third
low Wed night which will pass just E of the waters. High 
pressure will drift E towards the waters late Wed night, settle 
across the area Thu through Fri, and then will shift E of the 
waters Fri night.
