New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A high pressure ridge over the
waters will shift NE of the area early today. Developing low 
pressure will approach the waters from the SW today, then track 
NE along the coast tonight into Sun while pulling a strong cold 
front across the area. The low will then slowly track E while 
passing just N of area late Sun into Mon, and continue to track E
Mon night as a weaker cold front moves S over the waters. The 
cold front will then pass S of the area Tue and Tue night before 
high pressure builds SE towards the region Wed and Wed night.
