New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...High pressure builds over the
waters tonight, and continues through Thursday. A cold front 
approaches from the west Thursday night, and weakens as it moves 
east of the waters Friday. Another high builds southeast over the
area Friday night and continues through Saturday night as strong
low pressure develops and intensifies off of the southeast U.S. 
coast. The high moves northeast Sunday as strong low pressure 
moves into the mid-Atlantic waters Sunday night and Monday. The 
low moves east of the area Monday night. Mariners planning 
voyages off of the East Coast over the weekend should monitor the
latest forecasts.
