Daily River and Lake Summary
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
1230 PM EST Sun Feb 17 2019

High pressure will maintain dry weather across southern New England
today. It will seasonably cold with afternoon temperatures ranging
in the 30s.

Accumulating snow overspreads the region late this evening and
overnight from west to east and continues into Monday, in
association with low pressure tracking south of New England. This
will be a plowable event for much of the region, however some mixing
with sleet or rain is possible along southern coastal areas.
Temperatures tonight will fall back into the 20s, then highs on
Monday will top out in the 30s.

Drier and colder conditions follow Monday night into Wednesday as
a large high pressure area builds in from the west.

Area main stem river levels will fall slightly or remain nearly
stationary over the next 24 to 48 hours.

These forecasts include 24 hour precipitation for the period ending
at 7 am today, and forecast precipitation through 7 am tomorrow.
